We now have older kids leaving the 3 schools that KF supports but unlike the UK, apprenticeships are rare and need financial support. We currently are looking to find and fund apprenticeships in Tailoring and Dressmaking, Computer Engineering and Metal Fabrication and Light Engineering also training in Electrical Engineering and Plumbing. In Ghana if you do not have a skill the only opportunities are selling on the street or begging.
